I tried to make the star the focus of this card, as though it was a close-up of just the top part of the tree. Not sure I pulled that off or not, but it was fun to create! I used two different gold cardstocks (one brushed and one mirror) for a bit of contrast, and some Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents on the lightbulbs (hard to see in the photo).
It works perfectly for a few Christmas challenges (but that’s not to say I won’t do more later in the month!):
- Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge – anything goes + optional gold
- Sparkles Christmas challenges – stars
- The 12 Months of Christmas link up – anything goes
- Peace on Earth Christmas – Christmas tree inspiration photo

Wow, so many fun elements on this tree! I love your tree “style” so much – what a brilliant way to add that EF! And I love this layered star – one of my go-tos! Thanks so much for playing at Sparkles!
Very unique and beautiful, what a pretty star!! Thank you for joining our challenge at Peace On Earth!

Very pretty! Thank you for sharing with us at POE Christmas Challenge.
Great job. I love the texture on the triangles that form the Christmas tree. The two layers of the star are amazing too. I think that you achieved the close-up view of the top of a Christmas card. Thanks for joining us at Happy Little Stampers ~ Christmas Challenge.

You definitely pulled it off as far as I’m concerned. I love the embossed branches and the way you layered the star in two gold finishes. Stunning. Thanks for joining us at Sparkles Christmas Challenge. Love Dawn x
