I’d never seen any Close To My Heart products before, so it was really fun to have an opportunity to use them for mini class #2. I can’t remember which inks I chose to use, but the embellishments I used are in the photo below. I think it might actually be the first time I’ve used the Nuvo Drops on cards since I bought them … I need to remember to use them more often!
Things I enjoyed:
- I loved the idea of changing blocky sentiments by masking off sections and using different coloured inks or by using dual tone inks to create an ombre effect.
- I loved how versatile these card layouts are – I’m going to try these again by swapping out the patterned papers.
- I really love the stamps we received in this class – they’re so versatile and so effective in the larger font styles, they’ll be used often!
