Before Crop & Create Delivered, I’d always passed over Lawn Fawn stamps and critters as being too ‘cutesy’ and definitely not ‘me’. Since that first class when I was converted by Jenn Shurkus, I’ve added to my stash with multiple Lawn Fawn stamp and die sets, and this is another great one that will be really well used in the future. Once again Jenn taught this class, and it was a lot of fun, as I’ve come to expect from both Jenn and Lawn Fawn.
Things I enjoyed:
- I love the idea of tucking in die cuts into the ‘pockets’ on the cardfront, I hadn’t considered doing that before so it was a fun ‘new to me’ idea.
- These little squirrels just scream ‘good times’ and they fill me with cheer – I think their joy feels a little infectious, and I especially love the plaid background card which has a squirrel throwing up leaves in sheer joy.
- I’d never really thought too much about colouring die cuts prior to this class, and it really does add a lot of dimenion to the final product. This is something I’ve continued to use on a regular basis since the class, so it was a great tip to learn.
