I’ve been very slack about posting on my blog each week as my cardmaking mojo has been a bit more absent than normal. I have, however, been creating for a couple of challenges regularly, with the primary one being Craft Roulette. Here are the cards from the weeks I’ve missed posting here.
Sat 3 Jun – Episode 166
- Project: Small bag (a rainbow shopping bag in the bike basket)
- Colours: in Rainbow (ink blended cloud background plus the shopping bag)
- Element: Wheel (on the bike)
- Random: Shimmer (silver glitter heat embossing on the wheel rims, Wink of Stella on the blue bike frame, and silver gems)

Sat 27 May – Episode 165
I managed to take a ‘go bag’ with me with options for most elements on the wheel, and put this card together while on a driving holiday. I left space at the bottom to add a Merry Christmas sentiment, which I didn’t have with me while travelling.
- Project: Card with flaps (triple flaps)
- Colours: Winter (cool blues and greens)
- Element: Children’s story (the Princess and the Pea, using the pea!)
- Random: Tile(s) (I used tile papers from Stamperia)

Sat 20 May – Episode 164
- Project: Slimline (not normally a fan of full-sized slimline cards, but as I was putting away some newly arrived supplies I saw this sheet of paper and the whole card came together quickly in my mind – I knew that I needed to do the larger card format to do the paper justice)
- Colours: Tea party (I thought of softer colours of vintage tea sets)
- Element: Word (birthday cut out of the paper/background layer and raised up as a shadow layer)
- Random: Hand drawn line(s) (on the edges of the raised letters)

Sat 13 May – Episode 163
- Project: Three tags
- Colours: Rose garden
- Element: May (my Mum’s birthday is in May, and her nickname is/was the Dragon – which is funny, because she’s the most selfless and beautiful person you can ever meet)
- Random: Masking (I masked off the card edges for the background ink blending)

Sat 6 May – Episode 162
- Project: Matchbook card (I’m not a fan of matchbook cards (or any cards that don’t stand up unaided, so I went with a different option, and made a miniature matchbook that serves as a needlebook when you add a square of wool felt to it – these are handy to have in portable/travel projects)
- Colours: Flowering field (I thought of all blue flowers, which is my ideal version of flowering fields)
- Element: Bird(s)
- Random: Wood grain (on the background paper)

Sat 29 April – Episode 161
- Project: Dutch door
- Colours: Campfire (I chose night sky and fire colours, plus green and neutrals for the forest)
- Element: Hat(s) or cap(s)
- Random: Book page (used as the background layer and ink blended)
